Autocad Designer Positions .

The applicant will have a background in architectural technology with experience in Autocad design for the construction industry. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the metal panel and/or curtain wall industry.

Requirements:
• Work in our offices in a cohesive team environment
• daily hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Be able to read architectural drawings
• Have strong command of AutoCAD LT & experience with Microsoft Office software
• Good oral & written communication skills an asset

Job description:
• Prepare complete wall cladding design documents in AutoCAD
• Produce shop fabrication drawings of composite panels & various subparts
• Produce bill of material for the various components for production
• Update and/or revise wall cladding installation drawings
• Prepare quantity estimates of various materials
