Sobotec Ltd. is proud to announce a partnership with McMaster University in developing the Centre for Effective Design of Structures. The centre, created in 2002, will insure the civil engineering department is on the cutting edge of technology.

The $100,000 contribution was donated to McMaster University by the founders of Sobotec Ltd., Vladimir and Chedo Sobot.

Sobotec Ltd. has a strong belief that sponsorship of such educational programs will insure further developments in the field of civil engineering. By sponsoring the creation of the research lab, Sobotec has provided the civil engineering students with access to the latest technologies, and the most current research.

The contribution will be used by graduates to insure they understand the durability of materials, possess advanced analytical skills, identify clients-specific needs, and satisfy sustainability concerns including reduced maintenance and extended service life of structures.
