The Metal Construction Association (MCA) has awarded Sobotec with the 2017 Chairman’s Award.
Sobotec was recognized in the municipal category for the façade fabrication of the Nassau Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.
3A Composites USA, also an MCA member, was recognized as the Alucobond® metal composite manufacturer for the project as well.
Each year, the MCA recognizes the most exceptional building projects across North America.
The awards are based on overall appearance, significance of metal in the project, innovative use of metal, and the role of metal in achieving project objectives.
Recipients for these awards are selected each year from a panel of architects and this was the third time Sobotec has been honoured with this prestigious award.
Vlad Sobot was present in San Diego to accept this award on behalf of all Sobotec employees.
The 2017 Chairman’s Award is just another testament to Sobotec’s ongoing commitment to innovation, excellence in engineering and high standard in the fabrication of architectural wall panel systems.
Congratulations to all Sobotec team members and partners involved in this outstanding project.
